What if I do not have enough MileagePlus award miles?

You can buy up to 150,000 miles per MileagePlus account every calendar year. Miles are available in increments of 1,000, with a minimum purchase of 2,000 miles per transaction, up to a maximum of 100,000 miles, or in increments of 5,000 miles up to a maximum of 150,000 miles.
