Are packages transferable?

No, the entire package is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the package is being given as a gift, the attending guest(s) information should be registered with United MileagePlus at the time of booking.

Travel visa requirements are dependent on your passport country of origin. If a travel visa is required, it is the responsibility of the auction winner and their guests to obtain one.

Will transportation to/from the airport be provided?

Yes, upon arrival at the airport in Tokyo you will be met by a Visa Events Team representative holding a Visa sign. The representative will escort you to your motor coach transportation that will take you to the hotel. Please note that transportation to/from your airport at your point of origin is your responsibility.

What hotel will I be staying at?

You will be staying at the InterContinental Tokyo Bay, a four-star hotel property located in the heart of Tokyo’s dynamic bay area and a short distance to the popular Odiba area.

Can I upgrade my room at the hotel?

Unfortunately, the rooms for the trip are pre-booked and cannot be modified. All reservations are double occupancy.

If I decide to rent a car, will parking be available?

During this time Tokyo will be very congested and we will not have parking available. For these reasons, we do not recommend getting a rental car.

Who should I reach out to if I have questions during my stay?

During your stay a Visa hospitality desk will be available to serve as a central meeting location. Visa team members will be onsite to help answer any questions you may have.

What meals are included?

Daily breakfast is included in your package and will be provided at the hotel restaurant of the InterContinental Tokyo Bay.. You will be responsible for all other meals. For your convenience, a $400 Visa prepaid product will be provided that can be used to pay for meals on your own.

If I have dietary restrictions, can I make a special request?

Yes. Please provide all special requests at the time of booking.

Do I need to make advance reservations for any meals?

Reservations are recommended for fine dining restaurants as there will be many tourists visiting Tokyo during this time.

What do I do if I have a safety or medical concern?

Visa security personnel will be present at the hotel, as well as at all off-site events, to provide information and to address any safety concerns. Visa will also have a qualified physician on-call if needed.
