Young the Giant is an eclectic indie rock group from Irvine, California. The band, formerly known as The Jakes, went on their first tour in 2009 opening for Kings of Leon, and played South by Southwest that same year before being signed to Roadrunner Records. Young the Giant released their first self-titled album in 2011, which premiered two platinum-selling singles, "My Body" and "Cough Syrup" that both reached top-five on the alternative music charts.
Their second album, Mind Over Matter, was released in 2014 and peaked at number 7 on the top 100 albums charts in the US, and has since gathered a dedicated fanbase. The band is set to release their third album, Home of the Strange, in August 2016 and have just announced their upcoming tour in the fall. About Live from the Artists Den
The Artists Den is a critically acclaimed television and digital music series now in its 10th season and best known for presenting secret concerts by extraordinary artists in non-traditional, often historic settings on the series Live from the Artists Den.
Past performers such as Adele, Mumford & Sons, Ed Sheeran, Zac Brown Band, Robert Plant, Soundgarden, Tim McGraw, Norah Jones, Sheryl Crow, and Ringo Starr have performed in a variety of extraordinary venues including Graceland, the first art museum in America, a Masonic temple, a 1930s silent movie theater, the world’s oldest merchant sailing vessel, a former archdiocese cathedral, The New York Public Library, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
*Amenities are subject to change based on venue and artist availability.
The winner and their guest must be at least 21 years of age. The winner will receive admission for two to the next Live from the Artists Den concert taping and live performance. There will be no physical tickets for this taping. Transportation and accommodations are not included and are the responsibility of the winer to arrange. No assignment, or transfer of any prize is permitted by participant.
This concert will be filmed for future public broadcast. Your attendance at this event will be deemed to constitute your consent to being filmed, photographed, and/or recorded and your image, likeness, and/or voice being used by Artists Den Entertainment in any medium in perpetuity.
- Tangible items such as tickets, parking passes and merchandise will be shipped via FedEx to the primary address on file as quickly as possible after the miles have been deducted from your MileagePlus account. Can I have my items shipped to a different address?
- Yes. Before you purchase or win your item, please be sure to update your primary address in your account by logging into your account profile on united.com. You can edit your shipping information there. Once the miles have been deducted from your MileagePlus account, the transaction will be final and the items will automatically be shipped to the primary account.
