Through this redemption type, you have the possibility to redeem miles by bidding on the offered experiences or merchandise by auction. Decisions as to what constitutes a qualifying bid, as well as exceptions, will be made at the sole discretion of MileagePlus, its affiliates or its services provider. Although these rules refer to the term "auction," it is important to note that neither MileagePlus nor its services provider is an "auctioneer" in the traditional sense. Instead, MileagePlus allows you to bid on and purchase experiences and merchandise offered by MileagePlus or third-party experience providers on the MileagePlus site using mileage bids in an auction-style format commonly referred to as "auction." Limitation of liability:
Event tickets are subject to terms and conditions as specified by ticket issuer. Participant agrees to comply with all applicable venue regulations with respect to the ticket offer. In redeeming this offer, participant, on behalf of himself/herself and his/her immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings and their spouses) individuals living in the same households of such participant, whether or not related, agrees to release and hold harmless United Airlines, Inc., Mileage Plus Holdings, LLC, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, successors, affiliates and related companies, client financial institutions, prize suppliers, and advertising, marketing and promotion agencies, and all officers, directors, employees, agents, and assigns of such entities (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from any and all liability or damage of any kind resulting from or arising from participation in the offer or acceptance, possession, use, misuse or nonuse of the offer (including travel related activity thereto).
United Cruises terms and conditions
- Certificate valid for travel to the Caribbean, Bermuda or Europe between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2019.
- The cruise must be taken by December 31, 2019 and is neither transferable nor redeemable for cash.
- Selection of sail dates is subject to availability and blackout dates.
- The following blackout dates apply: March 8, 2019–April 28, 2019; June 8, 2019–August 18, 2019; Christmas sailings; and New Year's Day sailings.
- If for any reason your selection is not available, Norwegian Cruise Line will ask for an alternate sail date.
- Exclusive of airfare, ground transfers, government taxes, fuel supplement, gratuities, shore excursions and other personal expenditures. The option of air add-ons is not available in conjunction with the cruise winners.
- Onboard service charges must be pre-paid under this program.
- Payment is required upon the time of confirmation by credit card.
- Stateroom upgrades cannot be provided.
- Norwegian Cruise Line will confirm accommodations within 30 days after receipt of your certificate.
Award miles are per stateroom and are awarded to only one passenger per cruise booking. Award mileage offer is based on the total cruise purchase price excluding port charges and government taxes and miles are earned as follows: 2 award miles per $1 of the total cruise purchase price; 2 additional award miles per $1 of the total cruise purchase price if you book a balcony or suite; 2 additional award miles per $1 of the total cruise purchase price if you are a United MileagePlus credit cardmember; 1 additional award mile per $1 of the total cruise purchase price if you are a MileagePlus credit cardmember and you book a balcony or suite.

Delivery time: Once the auction closes for an item, you will be notified if your bid was successful via email and asked to check out by accurately and completely filling out your best contact and shipping information. If you do not check out within 48 hours, your item may be forfeited and awarded to the next highest bidder. For additional information, please refer to the auction rules and restrictions.
Return policy: Once a bid has been placed, you cannot retract it. Except as otherwise determined by United Airlines, Inc., in its sole discretion, no refunds will be provided on any auction item. If for any reason an item is received damaged, becomes unavailable, or cannot be fulfilled in whole or in part, United Airlines, Inc., reserves the right in its sole discretion to offer a concession to affected members.
Privacy policy: Any personal data received through your online transaction will be kept confidential and may only be used to process and complete the required transaction.
Auction rules: To participate in an auction, the number of award miles in your account should be at least equal to the current bid per item. Enter the total number of award miles you want to bid in "My max bid." After placing your bid, you may follow the auction at the "My auction account" page. If you win the auction, you will be notified via email and your account will be automatically debited for the amount of award miles you had bid. No miles will be deducted from your account before the end of the auction.
Quantity: The quantity (number of items) available in this auction is one (1). You may not bid for more than one item. Bid per item is based on the current winning bid; the system calculates the required minimum bid amount for your bid to become the winning bid. Your bid must be equal to or higher than the required minimum bid shown in the field "My max bid." If your bid is higher than the required minimum, the system will automatically increase the bid on your behalf, using only as much of your maximum bid as is required to keep you in the winning lot. The maximum bid is the highest price in award miles you are willing to pay for the item; however, you won't necessarily use the full amount of your maximum bid. Your maximum bid will be kept confidential.
Winning bid: The winning bid is the highest bid among all bids received so far. Every bid placed replaces the current winning bid. When the auction ends, the member holding the winning bid will be the winner.
Bid history: In the bid history, all bids that have been placed so far for the item are listed in reverse chronology. The current winning bid can be viewed by clicking "Show winning bids."

How will I receive the tickets?

Do you offer refunds?
No, all purchases are nonrefundable.
How can I cancel?
All purchases are nonrefundable – no cancellations.
