OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.

• Eligibility. The United Airlines Dinner with the Queen of the Skies Promotion (the “Promotion”) is open to active employees of United Airlines, Inc. (“participant(s)”), who are in good standing at the time of entry and at the time the prize is awarded, which will be determined at United’s sole discretion. Eligible entrants must secure sufficient personal time off and in compliance with their applicable work rules, in order to participate in the prize event described below.  Eligible entrants must be 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in their state or country of residence, whichever is older, at the time they enter. Eligible entrants must also be enrolled in the United MileagePlus Program at time of entry and located in countries served by regularly scheduled United Airlines flights (not including United Express flights). Void elsewhere and where prohibited by law, including jurisdictions with applicable regulatory restrictions, including: Argentina, Brazil, Quebec, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Singapore, Spain, and Sweden. United reserves the right to determine whether any local laws, regulations other rules of the jurisdiction of the country where a potential winner resides permit the awarding of the prize under these rules without what United in its sole discretion believes to be a detrimental effect upon the company. Based on United’s determination of this effect, it may deny making an award to such potential winner without notice and thereafter award the prize in question to another eligible person selected through random drawing from remaining eligible entries.
• Sponsor. United Airlines, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, with its principal place of business at 233 S. Wacker Drive, Chicago, IL 60606 (“Sponsor”).
• Agreement to Official Rules. Participation in the Promotion constitutes Participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these official rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein in a timely manner.
• Entry Period. The Promotion begins on Monday, May 21 2018 at 5:00:00 p.m.  Central Time (“CT”) and ends on Friday, May 25, at 12:00 noon CT (the “entry period”). Entries received prior to or after the entry period will be disqualified.
• Entry. To enter the Promotion, during the entry period, visit the following link: https://exclusives.mileageplus.com/Listing/Details/5012245.  Once Participant submits the entry form, Participant will receive one (1) entry into the Promotion. Any entries attempted through the use of agencies or robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar methods will be void. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. The Participant will receive an email from MileagePlus Exclusives. Although the email may say “Purchase confirmation”, this email is only confirming that your entry has been received. Winners will be notified after the close of the entry period.
• Drawing. After the close of the entry period, Sponsor will select two (2) potential winners in a random drawing of all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and location of Participant. Sponsor will attempt to notify potential winner by email, and potential winner must respond within four (4) calendar days of the date email is sent by Sponsor or may result in a forfeiture of the prize and selection of additional potential winners.
• Requirements of Potential Winners. Except where prohibited, a potential winner must complete and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release (the “affidavit/release”). If a potential winner’s work schedule prohibits prize participation, fails to sign and return the affidavit/release within the required time period, if notification or prize is returned as undeliverable, if Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that the potential winner is ineligible, and/or if a potential winner fails to respond to initial notification attempt in a timely fashion, he or she will forfeit the prize and an alternate entrant may be selected in his or her place by random drawing from among remaining eligible entries (time permitting). Unless prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, picture, likeness, address (city and state), and biographical information for advertising and publicity purposes, worldwide, without further compensation.
• Prizes. Once Sponsor has determined that a Participant is fully eligible to win the Promotion, Participant will be deemed a winner. Two (2) winner(s) will each receive a prize package to attend United’s “Queen of the Skies” Dinner event, as described more fully below. All prize specifications to be determined at Sponsor’s sole discretion without guarantees.  The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each prize is up to $1, 130 USD value for each prize. If the actual value is less than the stated ARV, difference in prize value will not be awarded. Additional terms and conditions may apply. Terms will be provided at the time the prize is awarded. Any prize details that are not specified above will be determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion. A prize may not be transferred and must be accepted as awarded. Winner may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize (or component thereof) with another prize (or component thereof) of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor is not liable for any meals, insurance incidentals and other expenses incurred outside of the awarded prize that are not explicitly listed herein are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the winner. All applicable terms & conditions associated with the Prize program, including the MileagePlus Program and the United Club Program, will apply.  All Prizes are a one-time offer and in no way entitles recipient to future awards, or any other entitlement. The value of the prize may be subject to income tax which Sponsor will cover through a gross-up based on the ARV and the winner’s tax reporting obligations.

  • Complimentary dinner outside with the “Queen of the Skies” on Saturday, June 2, 2018
  • Roundtrip shuttle bus transportation from Memphis, TN to Tupelo, MS on Saturday, June 2, 2018 (ground transportation to/from hotel and airport is not included)
• General Conditions. In the event that the operation, security or administration of the Promotion is impaired in any way for any reason, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, suspend, modify and/or cancel the Promotion. If Sponsor terminates the Promotion, Sponsor may choose prize winners in a random drawing from among eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination and will provide notice of its action on the Promotion website. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion or to be acting in violation of these official rules or in a disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to undermine the operation of the Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, the sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. If a dispute arises regarding compliance with these official rules, sponsor may consider, in its sole discretion, data reasonably available to sponsor through information technology systems in Sponsor’s control, but Sponsor will not be obligated to consider any data or other information collected from any other source. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these official rules will not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision. In the event of a dispute as to any online entry, the authorized account holder of the email address used to enter will be deemed to be the entrant. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online-service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. In the event that an entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or destroyed, entrant’s sole remedy shall be another entry into the Promotion. If any provision of these official rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck, and the remaining provisions shall be enforced.
• Release and Limitation of Liability. By participating in the Promotion, Participant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and all prize providers from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Promotion; (b) technical or printing errors; (c) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected or undeliverable mail or email; (d) errors in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (e) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from  participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any prize. Participant further agrees that in any cause of action, the released parties’ liability will be limited to the cost associated with entering and participating in the Promotion, and in no event shall the released parties be liable for reasonable attorneys' fees.
• Disputes. Except where prohibited, Participant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of the Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Illinois, U.S.A.. All issues and questions concerning these official rules, Participant’s rights and obligations, or Sponsor’s rights and obligations shall be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules. Some jurisdictions do not allow for limitations on the ability to pursue class action remedies, and so these limitations may not apply.
• Winners List. For the results, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to United Airlines Dinner with the Queen of the Skies Promotion. Winners List Request, United Airlines Human Resources, 233 S. Wacker Drive, 25^th Floor, attn.:  Sheila Summaria . Winner Lists will be sent as soon as administratively feasible after the Prizes have been awarded. Requests for Winner List must be received by June 9, 2018.

Delivery Time:

Once the 'Raffle' closes for this item, you will be notified if your raffle ticket was successful via email and asked to check out by accurately and completely filling out your best contact and shipping information. You will also be contacted by a United representative within 2 business days with more information on your package, unless otherwise specified in the product description. 

Return policy: Once a raffle or purchase has been placed you cannot retract it. Except as otherwise determined by United Air Lines, Inc., in its sole discretion, no refunds will be provided on any Auction item. If for any reason an item is received damaged, becomes unavailable, or cannot be fulfilled in whole or in part, United Airlines, Inc.. reserves the right in its sole discretion to offer a concession to impacted members. Privacy policy: Any personal data received through your online transaction will be kept confidential and may only be used to process and complete the required transaction.

Auction Rules:

To participate in the raffle you can redeem '1' ticket for entry. After entering the raffle, you may follow the raffle at the 'My auction account' page. If you win, you will be notified via email. No miles will be deducted from your account before the end of the auction.
