Witness the journey from bean selection to roasting and the iconic tin packaging guided by the instructors of Università del Caffè inside the Trieste production plant, offering an up-close experience with the people dedicated to achieving optimum quality every single day. The one-day journey will include a tour of the main coffee shops in Trieste to experience the typical Italian style breakfast. Drinking a coffee won’t be same.
While in Trieste you’ll explore a city where Central European elegance meets Mediterranean flair. Stroll through its grand squares, admire neoclassical architecture, and learn about the city’s fascinating past as a major port of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Discover one of Trieste’s many inviting cafés or traditional osterias before continuing to the breathtaking Miramare Castle, a 19th-century seaside residence built for Archduke Ferdinand Maximilian of Habsburg. Overlooking the Gulf of Trieste, the castle is surrounded by lush, landscaped gardens and filled with original furnishings and historical charm. Enjoy a guided visit through its elegant rooms and a peaceful walk in the parkland, before returning to your hotel.
After your time in Trieste you’ll travel to Venice to experience the magic of the city while exploring its most iconic landmarks. Stroll through the enchanting canals and bridges as you arrive at the heart of the city—St. Mark’s Square. Admire the stunning St. Mark’s Basilica, with its golden mosaics, and visit the Doge’s Palace, once the seat of Venetian power, where you’ll walk through grand halls and cross the famous Bridge of Sighs. While in Venice enjoy a relaxing and scenic cruise over the blue waters of the Venetian Lagoon until you arrive at the island of Murano, which has produced glass that has fascinated Europe and the world for over five-hundred years. Then board a private boat, and cruise towards the sleepy fisherman’s island of Burano. Surrounded by its picture-postcard multicolored houses, you’ll have the rare opportunity to see the islanders skillfully creating hand-made lace, embroidery, handkerchiefs, shawls and tablecloths, all of which adorn Venetian walls and doorways.

- No resale: Tickets may not be re-sold or bartered. The sale or barter or attempted sale or barter of any ticket obtained in the Auction is expressly prohibited. Any ticket transferred in violation of this rule may be confiscated or canceled.
- Cancellation: United reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified via email and given further instructions.
- Attendees are responsible for their own expenses except for those specifically referenced.
- Travel must originate and end in the 48 contiguous United States or Washington D.C. Outbound flight destination and return flight point of origin must be directly served by United Airlines, travel on partner airlines is not permitted.
- Itinerary is subject to change at sole discretion of United Airlines.
- Any additional gratuities will be at the member’s expense.
- Must have valid passport.
- All travelers must be 18+.

Delivery Time
Once the auction closes for an item, you will be notified if your bid was successful via email and asked to check out by accurately and completely filling out your best contact and shipping information. If you do not check-out within 48 hours your item may be forfeited and awarded to the next highest bidder. You will also be contacted by a United representative within 5 business days with more information on your package, unless otherwise specified in the product description.
A physical mailing address within the 48 United States is required to bid on this item. Ships to U.S. 48 only. Cannot ship to a P.O. Box. For additional information, please refer to the Auction rules & restrictions.
Return policy
Once a bid has been placed you cannot retract it. Except as otherwise determined by United Airlines, Inc., in its sole discretion, no refunds will be provided on any auction item. If for any reason an item is received damaged, becomes unavailable, or cannot be fulfilled in whole or in part, United Airlines, Inc. reserves the right in its sole discretion to offer a concession to impacted members.

Auction Rules
To participate in an auction, the number of award miles in your account should be at least equal to the current bid per item. Enter the total number of Award Miles you want to bid in 'My max bid'. After placing your bid, you may follow the auction at the 'My auction account' page. If you win the auction, you will be notified via email and your account will be automatically debited for Award Miles you had bid. No miles will be deducted from your account before the end of the auction.
Quantity
The quantity available is stated on the auction page. You may not bid for more than allowable quantity. Bid per package based on the current winning bid, the system calculates the required minimum bid amount for your bid to become the winning bid. Your bid must be equal or higher than the required minimum bid shown in the field \'My max bid\'. If your bid is higher than the required minimum, the system will automatically increase the bid on your behalf, using only as much of your maximum bid as is required to keep you in the winning lot.
The maximum bid is the highest price in award miles you are willing to pay for the item, however you won't necessarily use the full amount of your maximum bid. Your maximum bid will be kept confidential.
